Hash and Encrypt are pseudonymisation, not anonymisation: under GDPR Art. 4(5) those values remain personal data. Under the EU AI Act (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689, in force since 1 August 2024, with high-risk obligations applying from 2 December 2027 (Annex III) and 2 August 2028 (Annex I)), removing personal data from training datasets entirely offline supports the Art. 10 data-governance duties — which stay with you as provider or deployer.

Note: anonym.plus is a standalone desktop tool, not a cloud service — it is not a HIPAA Business Associate (45 CFR §160.103) and no Business Associate Agreement (BAA) is required or offered. Your organization remains responsible for HIPAA compliance in how you use de-identified outputs.
