anonym.plus redacts personal data from legal documents on your own device. Federal filings must hide certain identifiers under FRCP 5.2: full Social Security and taxpayer numbers, a minor's name, financial account numbers and full dates of birth. The tool marks these for you, then you redact, replace or mask each one. Nothing leaves your machine, so privilege and work-product stay intact. Pick a practice area below.
How legal redaction works
The app opens each file on your computer. It never uploads a document to any server, so you keep attorney-client privilege and work-product protection. It scans the text for names, dates, account numbers and other identifiers. Local OCR reads scanned exhibits and PDFs too. It marks each match for your review. You then redact, replace or mask the value. The clean copy still reads as the same filing. Only the protected data changes.
Every task below maps one document type to the rule it must meet. You see the exact authority before you start, so the redaction log writes itself. Pick a practice area to view its 20 tasks.
