Customer List Anonymization with anonym.plus

Turn a customer roster into anonymous data that sits outside GDPR scope.

Customer-list anonymization is the removal of buyer PII from a sales record. Once the output is truly anonymous (GDPR Recital 26), it falls outside the law. anonym.plus does this on your device and keeps the segment and revenue math.

When this applies

A customer roster names each account with contacts and spend. A buyer needs the revenue split, not the individuals. Make the data anonymous before review.

How anonym.plus handles it

  1. Load the roster into anonym.plus on your device.
  2. It finds names, emails, phones, and addresses.
  3. Segment, spend, and revenue fields stay in place.
  4. Swap each account for a steady label across joined rows.
  5. Save the clean file on your device.

Limitations & cautions

A single large account can re-identify by spend alone. One buyer at 60% of revenue points to itself after the name goes. Weigh whether the figures themselves are a clue before you treat the data as anonymous.

Frequently asked questions

Is the revenue data removed?

No. Segment, spend, and revenue stay. Only names, contacts, and IDs change, so the split is intact.

Can I pool anonymous rosters?

Yes. Once truly anonymous, the data is no longer personal, so GDPR consent limits do not apply.

Does it read CRM exports?

Yes. Spreadsheet and CRM exports both work on your device.
